The first Topgolf to be built in Australia has been opened on the Gold Coast, near Movie World and Wet and Wild. Mistafog’s Alfresco fans help to cool the playing area by quietly and unobtrusively providing a cool airflow.
A gentle cooling breeze that’s not harsh or obtrusive
Even though it is a golf themed attraction, it is really much more than that. With it’s food and drink offerings and the option to compete with your friends, it is a complete entertainment package. As with any entertainment facility, customer comfort was a high priority.
Mistafog’s Alfrescool fans were the ideal option to provide the temperature control required. They have been mounted high near the back wall with the cool airflow drifting down over the group in the playing bay. The fans were even colour matched to the building decor so that they were unobtrusive and didn’t stand out from the architects vision for the area.

The cooling can be tailored to work in both extreme and moderately hot days by the climate controlled pump activation, which adjusts the amount of mist according to the temperature of the day and the amount of cooling required.
